131 Mondeo timing belt interval

Is Ford ETIS the 'last word' on service schedules/intervals?

I had heard that the intervals had been reduced for some engines. Just checked my Mondeo (2013, 1.6 TDCI) on ETIS using the VIN and the "Camshaft drive belt and tensioner" interval is showing as 112500 Miles or 10 years.

We also have a 2011 Focus, same engine as the Mondeo, checked that on ETIS using the VIN and it shows the "Camshaft drive belt and tensioner" interval as 87500 Miles.

Seems odd, no? Any advice - just stick to what it says there for each car?

    Thanks in advance
