Might have been posted already and I know I'll pay if I ever cancel.

Today I changed my payment date from the 18th of the month to the 1st.

I would have been due to pay €150 on the 18th of August, this has now changed to 1st of September @ €200 and back to €150 on the 1st for subsequent months.

Handy as I could do with an extra €100 now albeit kicking the can down the road.

That is crazy price , are you a customer long?

They have a half price sale at the moment you could cancel and sign up again in partners name if not in contract. Plus get 100euro cashback.

This in the opposite of a bargain 🙈

If €100 now is making a big difference, do you not think €150 a month is a huge waste of money, you don't even need to cancel, if you have never got the half price discount before, you will probably get it by just phoning up and speaking to someone in the cancellation team.

People wonder why cardsharing was huge and now everyone is jumping to IPTV. This thread is a good example :pac:

€150/month is outrageous. Call and give 30 days notice if you are not stuck in a contract with them. They'll offer you something on the phone but be firm and tell them you are leaving. You'll get multiple calls within the 30 days cancellation period with price reductions offering better deals than whatever you are offered on the first call.

If for whatever reason a call doesn't come you can simply call up before the end of 30 days and cancel the cancellation anyway so you have nothing to worry about playing chicken with them.

thanks, I was only trying to share a saving, your potential bargain is of course relative to your package.

Thought I was doing quite well, I have the full Sky Q + Mini package minus Sports, with Broadband and Phone, can you find me a cheaper package?

Keep the broadband, shelve the TV package. Save you 100 a month at least. An Amazon fire stick with Kodi for TV will cost you 30 quid and give you access to more shows and movies on demand, ad free, than the ludicrous money you're forking over to Sky each month. 1800 a year for repeats, ads and year old movies.

You don't even have sports for that whopper price, which is the only (half) decent reason to have pay TV at all in my opinion.

I don't understand your bargin alert, so you don't pay anything in August at all?

I can't even see where he is saving ought, he was due to pay 150 on 18th august but now he's going to pay 200 on 1st september and 150 on 1st every month after??

Sky have it right there's no saving, they just changed the date they go for your direct debit and added on the difference which you will pay in september.

Did you just recently sign up? There is a cooling off period I suggest you cancel or if not in contract cancel and get a better deal.
