    Hello

    Just wondering:

I live in Ireland 9 months per year and the rest of time in another country. I am paying a high rent for the time I use the house so I was wondering if it is possible to rent a land with planning permision to set up a wood house.

That would be for 12 years term.

I do not need more than 0.5 acre.

If this is possible where can I find people renting these type of land?

    Thanks for your help

I'm afraid, the simple answer would be no!

There are a myriad of reasons....planning reasons in the main.

Yes its possible. Loads of people do it, but it is not as secure as owning property.
Caravans and mobile home parks rent spaces on a long-term bases all the time. Month or annually usually available. Instead of a wooden structure, it would be a mobile home which you need to buy yourself and leave, semi-permantly in situ.

You need to find the nearest caravan/mobile home park to you and contact them.
