Could a bigger battery be installed in it...

It is a fairly well known drone. The Syma X5C was a big seller and was copied everywhere. there  are tons of similar models so you can get spare parts very cheap.

If you use google to search "SYMA X5HC hacks" you should get a lot of videos, including a range extender, modifying battery plug, upgrading the batteries etc.
Apart from being a decent cheap drone, it is a great one for tinkering with as there are a lot of hacks.

I got one of these a few months ago. Flew it up into the sky, gust of wind came and never seen it again. Seemed like a nice quadcopter until the wind did its evil duty.

I have the x5sc-1 and it's not great in a bit of a breeze, seems to be common on that model, anyone know if this x5hc is any better?

0.3MP. You'd lose clarity on ground shots above head height. That said, you'd probably lose it in a gust above that height anyway:D

I have already bought the upgraded version of that 2.0mp (720p camera) for €33 delivered.
    From here - https://www.tomtop.com/rc-quadcopter-1192/p-rm7953b.html
Use code XS809HW if you fancy going for it.
But i will say, it is ridiculously light. Drifts in no wind, the one click return is dependant on where it thinks you are standing, so after it has drifted loads, it thinks you are about 100 feet away.

Unfortunately, it was not even worth €30. The camera may come in handy for another drone or something.
I purposely did not post it here because i thought it was so bad. Maybe others will not.
It does get okay reviews on other forums like rcgroups etc..
But 2 hours charging for 10 minutes flight does require extra batteries.

    Edited.

To be fair, I have not given it a whole heap of time. Many other reviews saying it is good, i re-read over a few threads just now. Maybe i will give it another shot when the weather is better.

Pretty sure it's the HW version I ordered. For c.€30 my expectations aren't too high.

Pack of three extra batteries can be got on TomTop for $13.99 IIRC but I'll see how good or bad it is before I get spares

    I take it back.
It is actually a bit of fun. Speed trigger on the shoulder is good for tackling breezes, and it can be tweaked to stop the drifting.
The spares on banggood are cheaper.
There is a good thread here that may be helpful - https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2899697-VISUO-XS809HW-WIFI-FPV-With-Wide-Angle-HD-Camera-High-Hold-Mode-Foldable-Arm-RC-Quadc/page2

    Arrived this morning.
Charged it up for a few hours and had about 10 minutes of fun.
Crash bang wallop wallop, crash bang wallop.
    Brilliant!!!
Propellers were surprisingly strong (there are spares) and it's easier to control than I thought it would be.
    Thanks OP.

How high/far did you go in those 10 minutes?

you have to temper your expectations on cheap drones. all cheap drones are very light in terms of weight and will struggle in wind over 12 knots or so. Fly drones into the wind direction away from you so it will always be trying to come back to you.
and always buy a couple of extra batteries.

Its the first one I've ever had, so was just messing around in the garden trying to get to grips with the controls. Was afraid to go too high in case I lost control and it divebombed the neighbours cat.😄
Definitely need the extra batteries alright.
