Civil Service Paternity Leave

Bit of an odd technical question.

Civil Service previously had 3 days paternity leave which was simply given by the employer, now there is 2 weeks statutory leave. Does this supersede the 3 days or do you now get 2 weeks statutory plus the 3 days?

Just the 2 weeks. As a teacher you must give a months notice before taking it and produce proof the child is yours within 6 weeks of birth. Not sure if it the same for rest of cs/ps

The 3 days is gone, the entitlement is now two weeks paternity leave in total.
