Most am's the german shepherd sleeps on the bottom of my bed, he has separation anxiety. I've started listening to a meditation disc before I get up, I've noticed the shepherd is less barky and more inclined to doze during the day than before, I think there is a connection between the meditation and his relaxation.

Does anyone have experience of anything like this?

Perhaps if you're more chilled out, he's more chilled out?

whats on the meditation disc? Music? Animal/nature sounds?
A friend has a cd of bird song - her two dogs love it when she puts it on - straight into their beds and zonked.

I play music/YouTube videos for Bailey coming up to Halloween when he's afraid of fireworks and it definitely helps him. Just search for relaxing music for dogs and there's tons!
