    Hi all,

I've been forced to get a new (used) car because of my first one going bust. Looking back, I think I was done with what I bought because quite simply I didn't know enough when purchasing. It was an 06 Opel Corsa and I've had problem after problem putting nearly €2,000 into the car after purchase in just under 3 years.

I've been told that Corsa's are bad cars from multiple people since so looking now at Toyota Corolla's because I've heard only good things. Is there anything in particular for these cars I should look out for though? Looking at one tomorrow. It's an 04 because right now I can't afford anything high priced unfortunately. I'm afraid of getting done again on a crap car.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

Bring a mechanic with you to view. Pay him. Will save you money in the end

Or get an AA inspection. The same result!

Service History. If all entries look similar (handwriting, ink maybe not genuine.) Receipts ideally. Ring Servicing Garage to check. Corollas are good but like all cars need servicing.

I have a 2004 from new, great car boring but nothing goes wrong.

Cheers for the help all. Got someone to come with me to check the car and all looks well. Checked the service history with a local garage too and it's been serviced every year since 09.
