I went to an all boys school for both primary and secondary(A few girls used come for certain subjects). Our lunch times we at the same time so we would have mixed a little. In our school people generally got on and not much bullying. People were good to mix together and work together when needed,
It wasn't until I went to college I attend classes/worked as a team an assignments/ had lunch/etc constantly. As a guy we were always told that women/girls are a lot more mature and respectful. However I had the complete opposite reaction. The was a lot of nastiness such as name calling/excluding people/etc. I also had the similar experience in the work place.
I'm not saying men don't bully but I found women to be worse!

Defiantly women!! 100% haha still laugh I mentioned that on the ladies forum and got barred for a bit.. Men are too lazy to be bullies, women are a total different kettle of fish.. Men can be more violent fine, but women can also be violent and so much more

Not always. I work in a place where women who think they have more authority than they do are throwing their weight around on men, be it younger or older men. Women tend to use sarcasm, rolling eyes and often play the woman card when bullying others and they know that men aren't going to get as aggressive to them as they would other men so they are trickier to deal with.

I think its more common with Women, not saying men don't do it, but more women are bitchy, calculating and more emotionally/psychological than men

Assholes don't tend to have a specific gender.

Or maybe nowadays they do, I dunno.

I'm not sure. I've seen both in operation and have seen how both genders can be just as bad as each other.

On a personal level, my mother is a vile bully. I mean vile. When people say bullies are sly, as in they're nice as pie in front of others and evil trogs to you, to the point where no one believes you when you speak about it. That is exactly how she is with me. Will be as nice as pie in front of others but when I'm on my own, or with my dad, she will unleash. Myself and my dad get on quite well so we have often be her targets. She is venomous, sly and more cutting than you could ever imagine.

I've only recently started openly talking about it and telling people some of the things she's said and done. 'You'd never guess, she's so lovely,' is what I constantly hear.

Today I finally stood up to her. I don't mean standing up for myself, because that suggests a position of weakness where I believe i need to explain myself. Today it came from an effort of standing up TO her. When I told her her reign was over and there was nothing further she could say or do to effect me, her insults went deeper and sharper, which actually made me laugh in her face at her feebleness.

Sorry...probably not the point of the thread, but I feel fantastic right now for finally showing to the cow she has zilch control or effect on me. :D

You're the only person who has made this about "men vs women".

It is perfrctly valid to discuss the differences between the genders.

Which sex are the biggest bullies pits men against women. Makes it very binary

Oh here we go again with a men versus women thread, great.

Or just another thread that's an excuse to bash women again

i voted women because men will usually have a disagreement or even a row with someone but it is short lived. when the dust has settled we usually forget about it and make up with the person . sometimes even a good fight can clear the air and revitalise a friendship.
women ten to fall out cold and never talk to each other again. they even set themselves the goal of ruining the other person

There seems to be quite a bit of that lately.

Generally don't like working with women. There's always an opt out clause with them and they hold a grudge forever whereas with men whatever happened ladt week is usually water under the bridge. I can see why they are generally paid less as so many I've worked with are just not leadership material and their main aim in work was to cover their own arse rather than contribute selflessly to the team. Harsh and quite generalising I know, but that's broadly been my experience in a few different workplaces.

I've seen wholesale feuds and deep dislikes between women in workplaces and actially negatively effected the whole place as they'd barely communicate re work things

Bullies? Not gender-specific. Unless they have horns.

    OP.

I went to an all boys national and secondary school in the 70s/80s. It would have been great to get bullied by girls. Our biggest problem was getting laid/losing the oul virginity compared to feckers in a mixed secondary school, who got all the chances on a plate. We had to work hard for it. Very hard for it.

In conclusion I have been happily bullied all my adult life by women. Even on Boards, women scare me. This is a direct result of my schooling.

Surely them we could discuss the ways they bully rather than saying who are the biggest bullies- the question itself pits one against the other
Why are you even bothering? Soon all their posts will be deleted, as will yours that quote them.
