Dead and Gone has a line like that, it's by T.I. with Justin Timberlake guesting. Few years old now, so probably not.

    Or Marshmellow Alone :D

Ritchie Sambora did record a song called Every Road Leads Home To You but why in the name of sanity anyone would play it on radio defeats me.

Its none of the above so far..

I hate the radio so i dont know if its like shiny new or just recent. When i heard it i said it sounds like a Bon Jovi song but its not Jon Bon Jovi

Its not hip hop..its like pop rock

    Lyrics might be:

Ive been trying/driving my best just to get back home something something pause to you another instrumental bit and repeat to you

    Its driving me crazy

Valiant effort Sir but not those either

The sound and tone is similarcto what Bon Jovi has turfed out in recent years

Lyrics catalog has a few suggestions.

Grant-Lee Phillips might be a bit Bon Jovi-ish in an American rock/country kinda way...
    Maybe?

Edit: Doubt it's been on the radio a lot lately, unless he's become trendy all of a sudden.

OP - if the combined wisdom of AH cannot help, then try The "What's That Song" thread.

I suspect some kind of voodoo is at play, because they have an uncanny knack of working these out.

Is the pace of the song you're looking for OP fast, slow or in the middle?

What I mean is the song you're looking for is a feel good tune or is it a song that is suitable for older listeners?

Its a mid tempo song. Its a recent enough song if it were old id be more inclined to know it

Think Bon Jovi Someday il be Saturday Night for the tempo and rock pop feel

When I heard the start of the Harry Styles song, it sounds very like he was doing a Jon Bon Jovi impression! And that song is most certainly getting heavy rotation on the radio.

Need more lyrics or more clues...

The band are called Wild Youth, it is being played on Beat 102-103 a lot. Very like Bon Jovi, love it myself:)

Edit to say not sure of the name of the song but fairly sure they are a young Irish band.

:). I knew what you meant straight away, Beat is on here at home and in the car the whole time. I think one of the DJs passed comment on how similar to Bon Jovi it sounds. It's a good song!
