Soundbar for Samsung TV?

    Good morning,

I was looking at the Samsung UE49MU8000 and considering purchasing a soundbar along with it.

Any suggestions about which one to go for to match the TV?

I do tend to like sticking to the same brand, so unless other information might suggest to go elsewhere would probably like to stick to Samsung.

Also the majority of the funds available will be going on the TV!

    Thanks

    Paul

    Hi Paul.

    Thanks for the post.

The 49MU8000 really is a cracking television!
Currently in stock and priced at £1289.00

In terms of Samsung soundbars you are really starting at £599.00 for the HWMS650 (You can receive £100 back from Samsung on this purchase - UK Residents only).
    https://www.richersounds.com/product/soundbars-sound-base/samsung/hwms650/sams-hwms650-xu

We do also have a few of the curved soundbat the HWJ6501 (SILVER) priced at £299 to clear.
    https://www.richersounds.com/product/soundbars-sound-base/samsung/hwj6501r/sams-hwj6501r-xu

If you didn't mind moving manufacturer then there are many more options.

One of the most popular would be the Q Acoustics M4 priced at £329.00
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-200641-m-4.aspx

The Cambridge Audio TVB2 has also been a good hit with our customers priced at £299.00

Let me know what you think.

Any questions please drop me a post.

    Hi,

Thanks for letting me know, that's unfortunate.

Would there be any saving for me in bundling the TV and soundbar together?

    Thanks

    Hi John,

Thanks for that, but having read up a bit on the HWMS650, that's the one I am going to go for.

If you had something off that as a bundle that would be great otherwise might have to wait a while on the sound bar purchase. TV will still be happening!

    Regards

    Thanks for that Paul....

there is a quirk - that will work to your advantage!!!!

..if you order the Samsung UE49MU8000 on our site in sterling at £1289 it will work out very competitive ( esp including a 6 year warranty)
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202624-ue49mu8000.aspx?swapstore=1

then have a look at the HWMS650 its currently on special in our Euro store at €539 ( its £599 at the moment!!)
    http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-202489-hwms650.aspx?swapstore=1

you should save a good few quid that way ;)

    Hi,

Just wanted to say thanks for everything. The TV is amazing and I love the soundbar. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested.

Just a small note on the instructions for putting on the stand, these are very limited and don't mention that that back of the stand comes away to allow you to screw this on. Probably fairly obvious to most people, but just an FYI.

    Thanks again

    Paul
