Whats the best way to block a tap when freeing up an airlock , to get the water to reverse back through the pipes .

The palm of my hand is not working and a glove is not much better .

    Any ideas ?

Not really - I could use the bathroom , - they single taps . Or the kitchen is a mixed tap .

non mixer, best way to block is to turn it off.

If you want to push a airlock out then a hose between both taps and open both.

Start with the lowest lying air locked set of taps - leave both taps open.

You have to get water flowing from the working tap down the non working in the same sink/bath. Close all the other taps.

Might take a few go's. Once the lowest one back working go to the next tap. Best to use and block the end of a mixer pipes you see in bathroom that don't have a proper shower - close off the bottom end. Not describing them very well. :o

do you mean a hose from the working mains tap in kitchen to the non-working tap in bathroom ?
