20 paid up, 2 lads with money on the way. So should be 22 runners. So an extra 50 euros there. League winner with 550 {half the 1100 pot} could be the job. I'd be happy enough with that breakdown Spock.

So total pot of 1100 euros. Similar to Spocks original payout, a breakdown like this :

League winner: 550
League runner-up: 200
League 3rd place: 100
Cup winner: 200

If there is a majority out there that want a different split, let it be known asap. Otherwise we'll truck on with this.

Sounds good to me regarding the prizes

As a Leeds fan the FPL at least give me a reason to watch the Prem.

I like the Cup winner get 4 times as much as the runner up.

I don't like league winner only getting 2.5 times as much as league runner up and Cup winner.

I think the rewards for winning should be bigger in general.

So I'd suggest no prize money for 3rd in league and that 100 going to league winner.

Whichever pot split lads give the most thumbs up to, I'm ok with lads. I'd probably slightly prefer this one. Think the league winner getting a bigger pot is always nice. Majority rules.

Personally i think its good having a third place, 550 is still a good prize for first, and its good to have people around 4th,5th,6th battling to finish 3rd. but I'm happy with whatever.

Will try and park the prize pot situation in the next couple of weeks. Don't want be half way through the season and still not sure of what positions take what amounts of money. So I'll put up the 2 options and anyone who wants either just give it a thumbs up and I'll edit the list accordingly. Majority rules then.

I do find it more interesting to see which demographic attempts to influence others during a democratic process.

Usually find the younger generation leave the elders to make up their own mind.

Not one of the younger generation myself but option 2 keeps it interesting for more for longer. Hate it when half the league stop trying because there is nothing to play for later in the season. I think it keeps up the competition. Which is what a personally like.

I wasn't. I just think it's takes dedication to win a league and that should be rewarded as much as possible.

While we are all around, the Cup situation....

*** You can use any of the Chips you want during cup games and they will count in your gameweek points total. So triple captains, bench boost players points, etc. will all count. Any points hits for subs {-4, -8 etc.} will be deducted from your weekly total as per norm. ***


*** In the event of a draw, we go to the Tie Breaker situation ***

- Most goals scored in the gameweek
- Most assists made in the gameweek
- Fewest goals conceded by Goalkeeper and Defenders
- Fewest red cards received
- Fewest yellow cards received

Any Chips used also count in your tie break score. e.g a triple captain will earn 3 goals for each 1 scored in the first tie break scenario. Same scenario for a triple captain with assists or goals conceded {if a keeper or defender}. Bench boost scorers will count in tie break scores for all scenarios above.

Dates for the Cup :

Round 1 - Gameweek 26 Saturday Feb 3rd

Round 2 - Gameweek 27 Saturday Feb 10th

Quarter Finals - Gameweek 28 Saturday Feb 24th

Semi Finals - Gameweek 29 Saturday March 3rd

Final - Gameweek 30 Saturday March 10th


In the highly unlikely event of a draw after all the tie breakers, we go to a replay the following week. In this case the next round gets pushed back 1 week, i.e if a replay is required in round 1 it will take place in gameweek 27, pushing the whole 2nd round of the cup back to gameweek 28 etc. If this does happen, we will skip gameweek 31 altogether {FA Cup QF that weekend so there may not be a full set of FPL fixtures available}. Gameweek 32 would be the next available cup date for our competition.

Any issues with the above regarding the cup, just say the word.

I was going to do the cup draw in next few days. The full bracket all the way to the final. Then leave it here parked here til February. Everyone knows where they stand then. So 22 runners. 10 byes into the second round and 12 unlucky picks play the 1st round of the cup. Open draw, not determined by league positions etc. so it's as random as can be.

Everyone ok with that?
