    Hi all,

I am waiting about seven months for a summons (district court) that I was told I would receive in a few weeks. How long can I be left waiting?

I did read that the summons must be issued within six months but from reading similar threads here that just means that the guard needs to apply for the summons within six months. Is there a time limit?

The Guard must simply apply for the summons within 6 months, there is no time limit for actual issue or service, it can sometimes be over 12 months +.

Did you not get a FCPN first?

Yes but it went to my home address where I am not currently residing and missed the deadline to pay it.

Has the summons gone there too by any chance?

    No, I've been checking regularly.
