Trying to get VRT figure on an Insignia 1.6 auto. No listing on the VRT calculator, and ideas? Is there a central phone number?

VRO do not deal with the VRT queries from the public anymore. NCTS deal with all things VRT. They will tell you to present the car for inspection and if it's not on their system they will contact Revenue who need to contact the car manufacturer before getting back to you with a VRT figure.

    Zafira Tourer?

Even in the uk they are super rare with that engine/gearbox combo.

What's the co2 of the equivalent manual version and for the auto?

Is the manual one on the VRT calculator site? If so I'd take the VRT figure from that and allow 2k more for the auto just to give you a rough idea.

Good idea. There is a manual, albeit in a different spec. Still not sure what they do on the day if they can't find the car on their system.

If nobody imported a similar car then that is why it's not on the calculator and most likely not on the VRT database. In that case on the day of the VRT appointment they will send a query to the VRO for a OMSP figure. The VRO will then need to contact Vauxhall with the car's VIN to get details of the car's spec to calculate it's OMSP. The process can take up to 10 working days depending how fast both the VRO and the manufacturer are responding.
