    Hey folks,
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Zadar, Croatia?
Group of single girls considering a holiday here in September.
    Any info on the nightlife?
On a whole it seems to be an up and coming destination and we are worried it might be too quiet?
    Thanks in advance

Its been a few years since I was there but it wasn't a nightlife type destination then. Beautiful part of the world though with some of the worlds best scenic areas

Zadar is nice but wouldn't be a place to go if nightlife is your biggest draw. A lot of families and older people around when I was there a few years ago. It may have changed a bit since.

Split, further down the coast, is definitely where the night life is in Croatia. Lots of pub crawls and nightclubs. Some of the organised pub crawls throw in breakfast the following morning on your way home from the club :P

Hvar island has a great nightlife as well but can be expensive. You could fly into Split and get the ferry to Hvar and spend time in both if you wanted to spend some time sightseeing and swimming.

Not really too much in Zadar but Zadar airport serves a number of resorts close by.
Also serves Pag island where family and I just spent 2 weeks in Simuni camping resort. Had a fab time.
Pag also has the hugely popular party town of Novalja
Novalja is about 100km from the airport. Apparently a mad spot.
On return flight saw plenty Irish with zero tans (actually sickly white). I assume they partied by night and slept by day!

The blogger 'The Make Up Fairy' was there recently and herself and her boyfriend vlogged the trip. I think they were in a few places in Croatia, the video is on her blog. Might be worth checking out.

Went on a girls holiday there last year, very little nightlife. You'd probably be better checking out the islands..

Not long back, loved it. There is a big nightclub area in a park, very chilled and part open air. Zadar Garden lounge is fab too with big sun beds and great cocktails. Locals very chilled and friendly, most have good English. If you are looking for Ibiza or Ayia Napa forget it but found really nice places to socialise and friendly vibe. We were group of girls too by the way and met loads of people we will stay in touch with. You would probably need to be there over a weekend in September though as might be quiet midweek. It's fantastic place we were sorry didn't have longer. Stay in the old town by the water, you can jump in for a swim.
