Grazing rotations

    When do ye start thinking about extending the grazing roatation . I am 25 days sense turn out and sillage ground coming back into Platform in 15 days .

    Should I stay at 21-25 or extend it a bit .

    I am highly stocked so could easily stay at 21-25

    Probably a bit early to start extending your rotation given the growth that should be there with this heat and after this rain. Depends also on your demand and what you think you will grow for next month. So say you average 70kgDM per day for the coming month, a 20 day rotation will give you 20 x 70= 1400kgDM cover

    Thanks wild . I think stick to 21 -24 days as have quite a demand . Must really look into grass measuring
