    hi all,

We live in a terraced house with a storm porch. Currently the first step in is very steep, so im going to add another step in the next few weeks. I'd also like to add a handle / rail of some description to give my mother something to grip. The porch door / frame is pvc and glass, so nothing really to secure to there. Is there any single upright handles I could bolt to the step?

Or alternatively, I could bolt a handle to the wall adjacent to the front door, but this would be slightly awkward to use. Any suggestions, ideas, places to look at for products much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I'll take that as no so. I'll see about getting something made maybe.

Embed a support post in the new step perhaps. Rebar through the post will be stronger than bolting.
