Do people ever look at you twice?

What would cause someone to take a second look at you? Are you unusually short? Extremely tall? Covered in tattoos?
    What's your "thing"?

Or, what would cause you to look twice at someone in a pub or walking down the street?

I'd be happy if someone would look at me once…

I once had a man look at he 47 times in the space of an hour. He was an artist and drawing my portrait. Does that count? Do I win?

I have an utterly unremarkable face ... I would have had a brilliant career in the security services as a 'tail'...

I just stare for a really long time.

I presume that counts a just looking once.

I don't think there is anything particularly remarkable about me. Not ugly enough for second looks but not attractive enough for second looks either. I have some facial piercings and scars on my chest that might cause someone to look twice.

Nah. That was 'you only live twice'. That was the one where he had to look twice into the volcano.

I always get mistaken for famous people, couple of months ago some girl thought I was Ardal o'hanlon, another day a guy thought I was Will Smith. I must just have one of those faces.

Got what i would consider more lingering looks last week in sunny stockholm than i have ever - knowingly - gotten in ireland.

My niece gave me a black eye with a toy dinosaur a few months ago and that, surprisingly, caused a lot of women to give me a second look.

I'm extremely attractive, full of charisma, top 1% IQ score, embarrassingly wealthy and well known in my area for major contributions to the less than fortunate - kind of getting used to people staring at this stage

    "Is that yer man?"
    Looks again.

    "Yeah thats yer man".

No idea who they think "yer man" is.

    Normal Look on Monday:
    -Blue eyes
    -Pale face

    Boozy weekend
    -Head size doubled
    -Red eyes
    -Blue face
-Cross-eyed (Only if whiskey is involved)

People stare at me on Mondays after a boozy weekend.
I feel the shame, Oh the shame. :)

I was chatting with a friend about this recently, she's a tiny adorable Spanish girl with a smile that would melt your heart. She's also a firebreathing dragon! She told me 'everyone just walks right up to me and starts talking because I'm small and cute and most of the time I just want them to just fcuk off and leave me alone'. I was telling her that no one likes me at first because of my height and stern exterior - she agreed.

    Aye, I hear that. :D

Generally not so much. The odd time though.

I have bad peripheral vision and sometimes I stare at people because I'm not sure whether I know them or not. Then they look at me strangely and I slink off.

No one looks at me because I am devoid of distinguishing features or character.

    I'm very, very attractive.

I’m pretty sure there’s a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is.

I'm just what you would call 'your average joe'.

I also got looked at many times, not twice or three times but for what felt like eternity in the post office que and other business communities. Some old guy just stared at me constantly with a focused penetrating eye stare. The only thing that blurted from my mouth to him was... Why don't you take a picture it will last longer. After that he just kept staring so I left the building and just let the cool strong breeze brush it off away from my mind. It's bad manners to stare. Some odd-balls out there. The dope didn't even have a camera. Most times when I catch a person staring at me and I catch them, they usually gyrate their neck upwards to the right in such amazing speed to look elsewhere, it's quite strange to see this in action. :)

Individual people have different thoughts and understanding in regard to others opinions, but the problem is this... there are some people out there that will do everything in their power to cut you off when they do not like your opinion even when it is truth.

Ah lads you all need to see the movie "Shallow Hall". I love it. I'd be considered good looking but never put any store in it and I honestly think that some girls and guys who are very good looking in life actually do not have the easiest of times, anyone who may be considered extremely good looking (certainly not me) I think the way people would react to you and judge you, you would want to be a pretty resilient person to withstand that seeing as it's all superficial nonsense anyway and we are all born into this world with what we got.

I'm in South America at the minute. This pale Irishman is getting second glances all over the place. I know it's probably because I'm a giant red-headed freak to these gorgeous people, but it's nice being the one turning a few heads for once :)

People always look at me. No clue why. I even have people wave at me. Literally today, I'm in my estate, and some random girl on the other side of the street just waved at me...?

    Pretty weird.

Anyone ever meet their doppelgänger? That my friends is where (both) of you go wtf and look twice. Happened me on the subway in Sydney, I was like there's a less better looking version of me and I'm guessing she (a 9) was pissed that her doppelgänger was a 10. And a bloke.

There's a kinda famous back in the day musician, and on one of his album covers looks he so much like me that when I posted it on FB a few years ago my mom didn't believe it wasn't me.

Like she called me and checked.

I've seen photos of my doppelgänger (I have two different ones). It's a really weird experience.

I seem to have the kind of face that remind people of someone they know.
So some people do a double take when they see me and then the disappointment registers on their faces.
    And mine.

Smoke a pipe and wear a fedora like hat. I'm a pair of skinny jeans away from being a hipster god. I generally am away with the fairies so don't see people staring but my OH tells me that it happens a lot.
