unlock code for iPhone

    hi,
    i have moved from eir mobile monthly billing to virgin mobile.
    i am out of contract.
    i contacted emobile for unlock code for my iPhone.
    twice i was told its unlocked.
    but unfortunately its not.
    support team says its unlocked and try again.
    i am following the correct steps.
    can u pls help in getting unlock code

    Thanks for getting in touch.


    Can you please try the following steps?


    Plug iPhone to a computer.  Open iTunes & selected your iPhone from top right-hand corner.  Select “Restore iPhone”, “back up” and then “restore”.  Don’t unplug your iPhone.  If you’re given the option, update settings and click “continue”.  It’s important to back up all your stuff before doing anything.  These steps may be in a slightly different order depending on the iPhone.

    *Make sure to try this with a different network SIM in it

    i tried your steps but no luck. still says locked.
    i rang the eir care again and i was told phone is unlocked.
    i was told to contact apple
    i contacted apple who said the phone is not unlocked and is still carrier locked.
    request must come from eir.
    can you please look into this for me?
    i have the apple case id if it helps.

    oops. i dont have eir sim anymore. i moved to virgin mobile 2 weeks back. any other option?
