    Hello,

Was checking Daft.ie and there are a bit more than 200 houses for sale in Gorey. Looks like a high number for a small town.

Would anyone know the reason(s)? Just wondering if residents are trying to take advantage of the current housing situation, or if there are any issues in the area.

Lots of new builds/developments hitting the market there taking advantage of those priced out of the Dublin market moving down the N11.Gorey is a boom town with new businesses seemingly opening weekly.

Lots of townlands have Gorey in their description, most of these houses are probably within a 5 or 6 mile radius of Gorey rather than in the town

Look at the map view of those 200 houses on Daft, any house between Enniscorthy and Arklow is listed as being in Gorey.

It won't be long now where 'Gorey South' will include Duncormick :(
