    Hi All

Sorry if this has been asked before (or if in the wrong place), can't find anything!
Having an issue with my Ford Audio, where it won't play music from my phone.
It was working fine this morning, but I turned airplane mode on my phone (signal issue) and when I tried to reconnect the audio wont play.

    What it can do:
    • Phone can connect via bluetooth
    • Song title & timer displays on car screen
    • Next/Previous buttons respond from steering wheel to Spotify/Purchased music
    • Phone calls and Siri works through car system

    What it can't do
    • Play music from Spotify/ purchased music
    • Play via YouTube
    • Play via browser

I've reset the phone, restarted the car, de/re-bonded the phone with the car...
EDIT: Volume is up on both devices ;)

    Anyone any ideas??

I had the same problem in my Focus but it was related to the phone in my case. I have an Android phone but the same idea might work if you have an iPhone. When mine was connected, the physical volume buttons were controlling the phone call volume but not the media volume. I had to go into the Settings menu, into Sound and then adjust the media volume separately which fixed the issue.
So, once it's connected if the physical volume buttons aren't doing anything, try fiddling with some of the full sound settings if you can?

Tried volume! Hearing the feedback and radio is fine so not the car's audio. Haven't tried via the phone when it was supposed to be streaming through the car's audio. I had to toggle output on the phone from device to ford audio, and volume on both were up... :(

Try and get someone else to pair their similar phone to the car and stream music, then get someone else with a different brand of phone to do the same. This will eliminate the problem being with the phone or stereo.

Well if you've exhausted all other possible options. I would then try a hard reset, i.e. pull the fuse for the ford sync module, switch on / off or disconnect the battery for a few minutes. Then try again.

Edit: try clearing the app cache first. Settings, app manager, cache, clear cache.

You can do a sync master reset in the sync settings menu.
Id say its more an issue with your phone though usually calls wouldnt work if the module goes haywire but no harm to try it.

Thanks Everyone for the help... no nuggets of wisdom here! Connected an android and it worked fine, then when I went back to my phone it was working again :confused:

I find if you delete the Pairing and then add it again it works. The sync system is a bit glitchy
