My sister worked as a receptionist at a recruitment service office then was offered a job as a recruitment consultant. She didn't take it as it was only a summer job from Uni she wanted but that's a good way to get foot in the door. Her degree was Arts, nothing specific to recruitment.

Courses won't do it OP, recruitment is a sales job at the end of the day.

You will need to convince a potential employer you are hungry for success and to earn commission. Phone them up and ask for an interview. When asked why you want to work in this industry the correct answer is "I want to make money". The most common mistake here is to reply "I want to help people".

So with that information reflect on whether you really want to work in recruitment. Any friends in the field?
