Delays at An Post

Expecting a package from the UK. Tracking on Royal Mail site says It's "on its way to Dublin for onward delivery" This hasn't updated since the 6th and there's no sign on of it on the An Post site. Is this normal?

I have sometimes had amazon parcels arrive before the tracking on an post was even working.
