Cig lighter

    Could anyone help me with an issue I'm having with my cigarette lighter. I drive a 99 Micra and am having trouble with the socket. No connection fits into it; only the lighter. Every connection I try just pops back out.
    It's probably a simple problem but I'm not good with anything like this could anyone give suggestions?

    Is there a separate 12v socket?

    From what I see the lighter sockets in that model micra are a slight smaller size.
    Your better off replacing it if you plan on using it a lot. Only €10 in Halfords and easy enough to fit.

    Thank you. I'll have a look into it. I ordered a new one online; the piece fits into that. I just need to for it to the car now
