Help with electric guitar cables

    Hi there I just got my squier stratocaster frontman guitar out of the attic but im missing the mains plug and the cable that connects the guitar to the amplifier,my questions are will any guitar cable connect the guitar to the amplifier?and will any amplifier mains plug fit the amp?thank you.
