This bltch is clearly the worst therapist in the world

Don't know how she ever quaified.... In my experience counsellors are patient, good listeners, symathetic and very calm for the first few sesions, and take so many notes and ask so many questions. It's only in subsequent sessions that they step it up a gear and give you mental exercises - breathing techiques, meditating on the positive, etc - and also make you face/answer some honest, uncomfortable truths about your own reactions to situations. They are also completely non-judgemental.

Never before has there been a counsellor like that Ursula yoke!

I know Oxfam is the one in UK that people complain to about shows but what’s the Irish equivalent?

I think you mean Ofsted. I'm sure we have similar here, need to look it up. :)

I was wrong about Ofsted - my bad - it is Ofcom; you're dead right, it's the Commission for Communications Regulation here. :) Sorry about that, but I got the Ofsted thing, which is to do with standards in education across the pond confused with Ofcom. :o

I think Robbie and Carol are a few episodes away from becoming a parody of John and Mary from Father Ted.

Anyone else pissed-off with Rennie and her Engagement party? Honestly, at their age you wouldn't put that much effort into a wedding.... Fook off... Sorry for cursing.. :p

I wouldn't mind if she hadn't been married before, but she was married to Christy for probably years, then - no one ever seems to mention it now; it's as if it never happened - she was married to that elderly wealthy Brazilian man whose family took her to court, when she was living in Brazil with Heather and Brendan, because the family believed her to be a black widow, only after the money or something.... (not 100% sure, but I think they suspected her of murdering him too)

I remember the newspaper, Bob - it was him, I'm nearly sure of it, unearthed it (he was deeply suspicious of her that time), I think he was called De Souza or something similar (the deceased rich husband).

Now she's gone from this richly dressed ''black widow'' who had a vineyard in Brazil/import business or something - wasn't paying too much heed back then, just dipping in and out of it.

Now she's back, rich dead hubbie forgotten and working for her daughter in the local Spar and engaged to Bob, who didn't want anything to do with her for ages....

And did anyone else notice how the smile kind of froze on her face and she tried to mask her disappointment when Jackie offered the Ballantyne as a venue?

The annoying auld Bridezilla yoke probably wanted the Shelbourne! :D

I'd love if it was held/had to be held in the Pod, owing to a water/gas leak at the Ballantyne or something similar! They'd be all cramped together like sardines in a tin.

Then to put the icing on the cake, Dr Oakley would descend from the attic and ask them if they want to play ''who wants to die!'' :P:D

It'll be shovel attacks and shotguns being pulled on each other yet - until Fr. Bertie walks by, and they'll be all 'howya Father,'' Robbie/Carol (depending on which one was the agressor on that particular occasion) ''tripped over a Brennans bread loaf (they seem to buy no other type of bread) and landed on the shovel. I'm just taking him/her to A&E now''.

Fr. Bertie walks away thinking what a lovely, loving couple Carol and Robbie are..... :D

There is no way in real life that Paul and Niamh would get back together (albeit temporarily) acting all lovey dovey; seeing as they both tried to kill each other, and almost killed Orla in the process.... And speaking of THE PLAN - what the fup is going on with Dermot; not a mention of him since.....

Then again, FC is an anything goes, unbelievable soap, which has in some ways gotten us hooked - a bit like those old Carry On movies I love so much; but at least they were comedies. :D

Did Dermot ever get the ride off Jane, she got his house and does she even visit him

Its a joke at this stage, I have never remembered a cast member to be in it so long continually as Carol- she has been in practically every episode solid this last year.

We all know how this Carol/Robbie thing is gonna end- either get back together or else Robbie leaves, yet another man to leave her life and yet she still stays like a bad smell. No doubt she will encounter a gangster from her past soon to keep her in the soap another 18 years :rolleyes::rolleyes:

He uttered possibly the greatest line of all time, when he said
"Let's play a game called who wants to die"

Still chuckling away at that one.

That was straight out of a James Bond movie. He'd make a fantastic Bond villain :D

Pity he has no one to comb the back of his hair!

He's probably trying to copy Robbie's hair trend and failing miserably - he's only a small kid after all! :P
Ha ha. Yeah makes sense. !

It's just my experience with people with who are alcoholics with grown up kids. They try and buy their kids back. Hughie did this with the pod and now he's sending him on his travels!

But still good for kevin to get away .. "find himself "

Why cant Carol leave the soap as easy as Debbie and Kevin?

Shame- they could have made an interesting storyline with Kevin struggling to accept being gay and using it as a chance to bond with Hughie and improving their relationship over time. Instead he kissed Christiano 2 weeks ago, now hes 100% gay and ready to travel the world.

Ridiculous. Laura must know every lesbian in Ireland.

In fairness the scene is very small, it's not uncommon for everyone to know each other
