Hi have booked flights to Stockholm with gotogate. This before I some of the horrible reviews people have given them. I am really worried something will go wrong now. Can people tell me of their experiences with them? or is their and alarm bells that should concern me?

Did your booking confirmation give you a 6 character reference code (PNR)?, if so use it to login and manage your booking on the airline's own website. If it's there then you're confirmed.

Not there. Think I could have been screwed over.

Did the confirmation email have an eticket number beside each person? The eticket number is. Long number around 10/12 numbers long, all numbers, no letters. If you ring the airline that's operating the flight, give them the eticket number, they might be able to locate your PNR. Don't give up on this crowd just yet, I haven't personally used them but have seen them around on a few price comparison websites for quite a while now.

I've used gotogate a lot for work bookings and never had any problem. I would say they are one of my preferred third party websites.

Worked fine for me anyway to Dubai earlier this year. Saved me about €400 between the 4 of us.

I bought flights to Asia with them last month and got the same fright as yourself OP after reading reviews. Then I couldn't get the booking ref they provided within the conformation email to verify on their website (I nearly passed out at this point as I'd paid for more than my own flight and thought I was down down quite a bit of money).

Anyways, it turns out that I was putting the booking number rather than the order number in on their site. Once I logged it I was able to view the flight details, select the travel document and look for the eticket number, I was able to log in on the carriers website and the tickets were there.
