Should I be paying PAYE?

My friend and I recently started working the exact same job and the exact same hours, handing out leaflets for a restaurant. When we first started working, we had our PAYE paid for us by our employers. However recently I have began to be charged PAYE and my friend has not. Why is this? We only earn roughly €80 euro a week as it's a small part time job on weekends.

There could be a million different reasons. The amount of tax you pay can never be compared to anybody else.

Ask the employer first and foremost. You're likely on emergency tax

as above there can be a variety of reasons. You can rarely compare your tax to another persons. Firstly, have you an account registered with Revenue ? Do they know you are working for this company ? Have you worked previously ?
