Wiring for Future alarm

    Hi all.

Looking for some quick advice, getting some work done and have an option to drop in limited wiring for a house alarm, Siemens, as it's a duplex we want to have control panels at the entrance door, first floor landing (main living) and master suit on the third floor. Should these be three cat5s back to the panel location or looped to each other and then back to the control panel location which is in an attic. Bell will be wired back to here as well.

    Thanks for the advice.

It's best to do as many home runs as possible.
Bring all keypads cables straight back to the panel.
All motion sensors straight back to the panel.
Bells straight back to the panel.
After that keep each each room separate for window's and doors etc.

Main panel location shouldn't be in an attic or hotpress space that is due to temperature fluctuations / high humidity. If the attic is a converted attic that is of course different.

I'm open to correction of this.
