Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes to get a m50 toll fine out in post. Passed it twice in one day nearly two weeks ago and was expecting a letter in post but never got anything.

Perhaps if you had paid the toll within 24 hours of using it you wouldn't have to be asking here.

The system was out for a day or so a couple of weeks ago due to some foolish eejit cutting wires to protest about some fire 10 or 15 years ago.

Give them a call, they are usually good to deal with.

Wires were cut afternoon of 17th and it wasn't repaired til evening of 18th or possibly early 19th June.

Yeah I forgot to pay, albeit it was only about 3 days later when I called them, and they waived the additional fee and said to ignore the letter if it came. This was a few years back, have since set up an account.

Madness that they don't have a way checking up on tolls owed , then the site says don't pay till you receive the penalty, I'd the same scenario and penalty never came

As said already give them a call, they're not as bad as you'd expect.
Also a lot of people don't know it's possible to prepay the toll. So next time you need to pay one then pay two.... At least you've one pass waiting for that time u do forget.
