    Hi there,can anyone tell me do you get free to air channels with the now tv smart box and if so are they just the Irish free to air channels?thank you

    No Irish channels whatsoever.

    Only UK terrestrial is Channel 4, and then only on demand programming.

    Sorry ICDG, but with the Nowtv Smart Box as referrred to by the OP, there is a dvb-t input that you can connect an aerial to. This will tune in the Saorview channels in Ireland and the Freeview channels in the UK.

    Thanks for your responses guys,but I was thinking I would get the english channels via the internet,ye saved me some money I was going to take a risk and just buy the box online,thanks again

    Sorry ICDG, but with the Nowtv Smart Box as referrred to by the OP, there is a dvb-t input that you can connect an aerial to. This will tune in the Saorview channels in Ireland and the Freeview channels in the UK.

    Aye I missed that point. But two observations. One: the said Smart Box is not offered to Irish customers. Two: those channels are Freeview/Saorview channels and are not offered as part of Now TV.
