My Parking Sensors Love the Fine Weather

I have an E46 Coupe with parking sensors. Ever since I bought it last winter I've gotten the long solid beep when putting it into reverse, so I just took the sensors as broken and lived without them.

The warm weather over the past couple of weeks has brought them back to life though! As soon as the good weather came along they started to work, then it got colder and the long beep came back. Then again this morning they've started again.

Is there anything I can do to make them work consistently (Besides moving to the Mediterranean)?

Is there a short on the wire? I've cheap ones, and they run off the reversing light. Once the light is on, circuit is active.

BMW sensors are notoriously ****e, have you front and back sensors? It's usually just one that acts up and throws the whole lot off!

Just the back sensors. I'd done the ear to the sensor test and the middle two weren't clicking. When it's warm out they all click.

Replace the center two and should have no more issues, they're cheap on ebay now!
