UK Vauxhall v Irish Opel

Considering a 2016 UK Vauxhall Zafira Tourer over its Opel Ireland counterpart as it is comes in FAR cheaper to buy.

    A couple of questions?

Safe to assume Opel Ireland will warranty a UK car (2 years manufacturers warranty remaining)?

Will it be punished come resale time (at least 5 years) for being a Vauxhall instead of an Opel?

There isn't the huge gap in resale values between a Vauxhall and Opel these days due to the number of them being imported and the only difference being badges. Remember that your saving money by importing so that will be offset that against any lower resale value the Vauxhall may experience in a few years. Buy it cheaper then sell it cheaper.
