Cycle helmet - can't get one to fit

Every helmet I try on is too tight on each side of my head above the ear. Otherwise, they seem to be a good fit.

I've just tried a Specialised Align but it has the same issue.

Can anyone suggest a helmet and where to buy it, which might be suitable?

    Thanks in advance

Kask make nice roomy helmets that don't have the mushroom effect.

    How big is your melon?

+1 on Kask, I have a large melon and Kask Mojito fits me perfectly, m/l size.

Please - don't turn this into a competition over who has grown the biggest melon

    Thanks

I seem to have an oversize brain too. I found Giro to be the best fit for me. I use the Savant model.
