If this option was selected for the welfare scheme can lambs be sold off the ewes without meal feeding?

If the lambs are heavy enough to slaughter before weaning, I guess they have to go,
but if you sell store lambs without feeding them for four weeks you're unlikely to be paid if you're inspected,
The Department will have a record of when and what you sold at the inspection.

Just edited to say that it wouldn't need a very sophisticated computer programme in the dept to flag those farmers that went for mealfeeding if they sell lambs.
Often had an inspection here after selling ewes in the good old days of sheep premiums retention periods......even though I was told it was purely coincidental!!!!!

Is it ok to buy the meal in 25kg bags every week or must you buy in bulk?

Keep the receipts and buy which ever way you want, id say.
