Has anyone cover for insurance when your bike is in the airlines/handlers care?
Bit concerned about flying with my bike without proper insurance. Any I've found seem to cover up to an amount e.g. €3000 but only €300 per item of luggage so no use for a bike.

I have travelled a good few times with bikes on airlines but never had insurance. Having said that while my bikes are valuable to me they are not very valuable in real terms.

I normally just use cardboard bike boxes but I think if I had an expensive bike I would be getting the best hard case bike box I could afford to make damage unlikely.
