Advice on mileage

We're looking to buy a Passat estate as it suits our needs but maybe not our budget. We've been looking at 12/11 cars a lot of which have high mileage.

Test drove this earlier in the week - http://m.carzone.ie/used-cars/Volkswagen/Passat-2.0-Highline-SAT-NAV/8489436948576422677

Very nice to drive and ticks our family car option but it's a bit more than we'd like to spend. It's attractive cos it has 64k miles on it. Seems like a safer bet than a high mileage car like this which is also tempting: http://m.carzone.ie/used-cars/Volkswagen/Passat-TDI-SPORT-ESTATE-SAT-NAV-LOW-TAX-FSH-NEW-NCT-09-19/9141353468549738457

Is 130k miles on a 6 year old car mental? The price is more attractive but is it gonna cost us more in the long run? Not that into cars just that we have an 06 Octavia that's seen better days and we'd like air con! Any advice greatly appreciated.

PS looking at a Passat cos it gives good legroom in the front with a rear facing car seat in the back. Would like the estate to make getting buggies etc in and out of the car easier.
