GPS Phone ??

Hi folks,

I need to get an android phone to use as a motorcycle gps.
standard mc gps's are expensive.

I know there are + & - for a phone but won't be using it a whole lot - hence the cheaper version.

So, can you rec a waterproof Chinese phone, android for google maps/here maps. It won't even be used as a phone - just a gps. And it won't be used for extended periods due to heat.

I have an s6 - but don't want to mount this on the bike.

I'm not too familiar with durable waterproof android phones but I'd suggest when buying try get a non mediatek one as they have been known to suffer issues with GPS. You could buy a cheap one with Snapdragon for about €100 and stick it in a cheap enough mount .
