We're gong to be moving our 2.5 year to a creche in September. Up to now he has been with a lovely childminder who he is very attached to. I'm really concerned about the transition and I want to make it as easy as possible for him. We're going to take two weeks to settle him in and I would really appreciate hearing stories or advice from people who have done something similar. Would it be a good or bad idea to involve the childminder in the transition? He still naps, will this go out the window esp as he will never have napped with other children before?
