What to wear for an assessment day

    Hi y'all

I have an assessment day for a graduate programme. I've already had an interview and now there's an assessment day. For the interview I was a suit with a white shirt. I was thinking of wearing a light blue shirt with a white collar for this one. My housemate thinks it's a bad choice.

Sounds fine. It's probably a more casual wear setting so doesn't sound like you need a suit

I'd still wear the suit. You can always take the jacket off if no one else has one on, but this is still part of the interview process so first impressions will be important.

if it's an assessment day, treat it as an interview and wear at least shirt and a slacks/or if a lady blouse and a knee length skirt and formal shoes for both. Look into company culture to see what they wear.

if called for an interview during the assessment wear a suit/or if a lady add a blazer.

First impression is important when it comes to jobs, i know its so cringe, given when you get into the office you may encounter some really poorly dressed individuals in the office.

It's perfectly fine for women to wear trousers to an interview you know!

Oh don't do the blue shirt white collar thing. Seriously no one can wear one of those shirts and not look like a total knob.

Cannot stress wearing a suit enough. Been to three final round assesmnt centres including kerry, Boi and Daa and wearing just short slacks etc just looks average. Dont sell yourself short on what is such a great opportunity for yourself. Also best of luck, those can be nerve wracking
