Hi I am having my kitchen replaced at the minute and all appliances are integrated - unfortunately I cannot soure an integrated tumble dryer with a side vents . Ones with a back vent are so hard to source as well.

One be keen to know :

    1. Do people have an integrated vented dryer they would recommend or

    2. A good washer -dryer , reluctant to move to one machine but don't think I have an option at this stage ?

    Many thanks in advance

I couldn't source one last year, so had a space specifically built into my kitchen units to house a dryer, with a door attached to the unit carcass rather than the dryer. It's slightly wider and deeper than a regular appliance would require but as it's at the end of my kitchen units, it looks perfect-no ugly appliances on view.

So it's built in, for all intents and purposes, but the actual dryer is a non integrated appliance.

Built in washer dryers tend to be rubbish and crease the clothes. If you're building in an existing dryer make sure you're not obstructing any vents.

Is having the dryer in a room other than the kitchen an option?
