Funny, I made the very same comment to my companion today while looking at the 128 3p, the owner approached us just after I had mentioned it.

By the way I'm happy to take any criticism on my photos from today. Its a work in progress.

Plenty of original Irish cars there. Like the clean, brown Opel Record. Plus the late 131 that swam across.

Great pics and great to see so many Irish cars there - with the correct plates and fonts !!!!

A lot of people tend to get a bit riled up over "seas of ZVs" but I tend not to let the plate on a car bother me too much. That said, an original Irish reg does make for more interesting viewing.

Well put. If a classic is nice enough it will 'outshine' its reg plate!

Great pics btw Duke, keep 'em coming if you have more. I havent attanded the NBCI show to date, maybe next year!:)

Thanks, sadly I didn't take any more. There was a genuine Ferrari Dino there that I had forgotten to get a photo of :o

This was my first NCBI show - certainly not my last. It was great, and nicely laid out. Lacking food though, or stalls unless I missed them

Really nice little show that. Some serious metal there, too.

A tab obvious, but this was my highlight.

What has it got to do with des Cullen ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,697 ✭✭✭goochy

Sorry only realised now des cullen died in January

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 914 ✭✭✭okistag

Des Cullen has been a keen supporter in many ways of our show from the first year, now 21 years ago.
After all his kind support, it was only fitting to make the show a memorial one to him.

Yes it was very low profile. Normally you hear about people like him passing away in press.

Looks like a great turnout, how many cars were there on the day?
Will this event stay on the same weekend pre Terenure next year?

We have been the week before Terenure for a number of years now, so I think it will more than likely stay that way for now, as most weekends are already full.

Again we really appreciate the support, so thank you to all.
