Help with getting first months rent & deposit back

Hello my two friends and I just moved into our new places and handed over our share or the first months rent and deposit We're all on HAP and hap pay from the second month on Is there help on getting some or most or even all of our first month rent and despoil back as we have nothing now

Why would you want your deposit back ,you only get your deposit back when you finish your tenancy agreement by agreement

Because in certain cases, HAP pay full rent & deposit up front. Guy was simply asking about that - which applies to mostly homeless people who have secured a place through HAP.
Maybe try your CWO (or whatever they are called now) for an emergency payment if you are all broke- it's not easy to get money up for place and they will understand that.
