Used to be able to get down to 3 degrees no bother. Any ideas?

It's been hot recently and it may be harder for it to achieve temperature.

    How full is the fridge?

How well ventilated is the radiator at the back?

    What make is it.?

Some Samsung American style frides have a design flaw where the fan ices up and doesn't turn leadin to high temperatures.

what kind of fridge is it? is it a larder or has it an ice box or is it a frost free. if it is frost free a manual defrost will probably sort it, otherwise it most likely has a refrigerant leak. also worth checking is the door closing correctly at the bottom end

And where is it located? If it is a cold area, where the temperature is low, this too can effect performance.

Unlikely to be an issue with low ambient temperatures at this time of the year, but if the insulation has been damaged it may have difficulties in maintaining the temperature.

I homebrew beer and use this undercounter fridge to keep a 20l carboy of beer cool.
It's not too full and like I say it has no bother getting down to near zero at other times of the year.
There's a good big space between the back of the fridge and the wall, so don't think it's that.
It probably is just the ambient temp being higher.

    Anyway,

    thanks for the advice all!
