Does it matter if pads and sensors are different brands?

I'm looking online for Brake Pads and Sensors for a BMW 520D. I've found some Textar Pads on a particular site, but they only have Pagid Sensors. Will that do or do they have to be the same make?

All aftermarket sensors should be a direct copy of the originals, much like aftermarket pads are direct copies of the originals.

Assuming all is well with both dimension-wise compared to the originals, it shouldn't matter what brand they are.

    what year is it?
Are you still within warranty? If so you must use OEM products to maintain your warranty.
If not then its not a problem.

Dont think he would have an issue with textar as they are a oe supplier on quite a few brands

Correct. Textar are OE pads on BMW - not that it's relevant to the original question:)

The ops question had already been answered and I was just responding to a post regarding warranty issues with using non oe parts

I realise that, it wasn't meant to be a criticism of your post
