    Hi Guys,
Just wondered if anyone could help me out. I am on JSA and hubby works so recieves 40euro in FIS(we have 2 kids)
We just sent back a letter to renew our fis, think it is due for renewal this week. I am just wondering if it is too late to sign off and just increase our FIS? I am suffering a lot with anxiety and panic attacks and looking at the DA route seems pointless as it as almost always refused, but I would rather sign off as this JobPath thing is driving my anxiety mad with the pressure. I would like to add that I spend hours per day jobsearching so it's not a lazy thing but I feel the JobPath is going to force me into a position and it is making me have panic attacks on a daily basis.
I keep mentioning to them that I suffer with anxiety and they say things like " you'll be grand, it's hard getting into it " or they chuckle as they presume it means I'm just nervous with interviews, so I am unsure of what to do.

Is there an area that you would really like to work in? Think about what kind of job you would like to work in and come up with your own plan for how you could get into that field. JobPath etc. are primarily concerned with crossing you off their list. They won't expend any energy trying to get you into a position you will actually enjoy. Your happiness and mental wellbeing has to come first. Understanding what you would really want to do is the first step.
