Based on Vince Flynn's first Mitch Rapp novel, this looks like a good adult thriller with plenty of action and violence. Glad they didn't tone it down for PG audiences.

It could be the start of a long franchise if it does well - the books are a great read (and there are 14 of them to date).

Not sure I pictured Dylan O'Brien as Mitch... seems like he is a good fit though. Michael Keaton also stars.

    Out in September.

The idea seems cool and it looks like they've got an over-arching plot that could have good hooks.

There's occasional scenes that could be good with the right special effects in the trailer.

Just.. something feels a bit cheap/tv for what it feels like they are advertising.

Might still need some post-production and finishing of the effects.

This like Swagger, Bosch, Reacher & Cross are all better suited to being made into series I feel myself.

Saying that the trailer has done enough with Michael Keaton alone to have me intrigued.

Interesting to see Taylor Kitsch as the villain

I went to see it this afternoon and really enjoyed it.

O'Brien does a decent job with Mitch as he isn't who I would have pictured in the role and well Keaton is great as Hurley.

A good story that used the book as it's base and expaned on it well.

I'd hope it's a success at the box office as I'd like to see some more of Mitch and Hurley.

This is on Netflix.... It is decent a bit formulaic but gripping enough.
that opening scene is pretty bloody horrific and realistic not an easy watch

Decent action film. Standout was Michael Keaton, that interrogation scene was sublime.

I thought it was very poor personally. There were good moments as mentioned...Keaton...but not a movie I'd watch twice.

I'm not familiar with the source material but Keaton was mvp for me in this recent watch

Dylan reminded me Mark Wahlberg but not bad as the lead
