I was walking down to Portmarnock beach yesterday when two lads stopped at a bus stop near the hotel to take a selfie . Just as I was side stepping them on kerb one stuck his left arm out ans as he did I reacted to avoid being hit , slipped and fell on the road in front of a car .

My glasses were practically under the bumper and the front wheel about 3 feet from my head . Thankfully I only suffered a few scrapes and bruises . Could have been a very different fathers day.

Just walk right through. Why the hell would you do what you did.

There was room for me to pass on the left until the bloke on the left put his arm out without looking or thinking about other pedestrians ! I slipped as I moved to avoid getting a whack in the face ! What else could I do . It was a natural reaction to move!

I saw you, I just didn't care. Us peeps call them dualfys now when theirs more than 1 in the pic.

I saw two blokes who must have been in their forties outside in a beer garden the other week. There was a novelty cartoonish car thing as a decoration and one went over and posed with his head inside it for about 10 seconds until the other said "ye it's great but I haven't got my phone". :pac:

So the other one walked back and gave him his phone and returned to pose again. Then when they were done, they stood there for ages chuckling like Beavis and Butthead saying "oh it's good isn't it", "very good" :/:)

if anyone has their head stuck in their phone I generally never move out of the way. if they veer off slightly but our shoulders are going to touch, I plough into them. they are the ones that need to be on the look out. f*ck them

Are you sure it was the one that was taking the photo that hit you with his flailing arm?
If it was the other fella then the thread should be warning about the perils of photographers in general. And of walking.

If you done the right thing of walking through them you would see another thread here saying ignorant prick walked through as we took a selfie.
