I'm visiting Galway this weekend with a bunch of Americans. I'd love to bring them to a good match.

    Recommendations greatly appreciated.

Well if Galway make it to the All-Ireland semi finals (which is likely), then there probably won't be any senior hurling club matches on during August.

Won't be any matches. Which is a shame, as the Galway club game tends to feature plenty of timber. Especially if Loughrea or Turloughmore are involved.....

Fair Enough, what about intermediate junior or club on the same weekend?

Bit of an outdated viewpoint, it's no worse really than any other main county. In fairness, Turlough' seem to be reinventing themselves as a fast light skillful team, in keeping with their current playing squad.
