Petrol lawnmower, ideally self-propelled

    Anyone know any good deals available now on good-quality petrol lawnmowers? Ideally self-propelled but not necessarily. Max price €500. Need to buy 2 in the next few days. Any help appreciated.

    I got this one (the one for €429) in Flemings Naas. It has a Briggs and Stratton 625 self propelled engine. From checking around this is very good value. Ones in Woodies etc for same price are usually lower spec engine. He buys them in direct from manufacturer so price is good from what I can see. Very good quality. I cut a 0.5 acre lawn with it and haven't had any issues in 9 months.

    As suggested have a look at your local hardware stores - depending on where you are, Top hardware etc - see is there any offers. As your in Cork, there must be a good few dealers and or hire shops who might do a good deal for 2 x mowers.

    The pro-lawn on sale is Woodies is a fairly decent machine. I bought on of the higher specs about 6 years ago and its still working well.
    Try DoneDeal,(eg above Flemings Naas) local Hire/Dealers and Woodies/B&Q etc. I think your too late for the ALDI & Lidl offers.
